It was traditionally made of wood and is still preferred but a whole lot of other materials like glass top, marble top or other alternative material that have a faux wood finish are also becoming popular. Just keep the following in mind while buying:- What is your budget?
- What material will go with your décor and your budget? Some traditional ones of oak and pine have an attractive rustic look but can be quite expensive. All materials have their own advantages and disadvantages. For example wood is lasting but can be heavy to move around, glass gives a sense of more space due to its transparency but also attracts dust quite fast.
